Is this version of BF4 for pc?

Yes it is, the other versions (XB360, XBOne, PS4, and PS3) each have a bar accross the top with the version. You can see "PC" in the lower left hand corner beside the rating logo.

Make sure you have a decent graphics card to play this game. I have a ATI Radeon HD6850, and I wouldn't recommend anything less than it to play the game on medium settings.

Is this game for PC, and what are the requirements for the computer? Does this game require an extra controller or is the keyboard sufficient?

This particular SKU is for the PC, but BF4 has also been released for the XBox and PS consoles.  On the PC, it plays well with the keyboard, a joystick helps with flying, but it also has settings to use a usb console controller, like the one for the XBox if you prefer.

For system requirements, the more power you have on CPU and video, the better eye candy you will get.  But the game scales well for the less powerfull PCs by adjusting the various settings in the game for video, audio and effects.

You have barely enough to meet the specs on the back of the box. I am running an AMD FX-6350 6 core processor 3.5 Ghz, 16 GB memory, Dual SLI graphics cards, 120GB SSD, 1 TB HDD. This game takes more than 30 Gigs of space!
You need to upgrade your machine to play this game well.

Does the disk act as a key (does it have to be in the drive while you play), or does it just act as a repository to download the software?

I noticed alot of people asked about the extra you gets if preorder but there are no answer for these. Can someone from company answer this? If I buy it now will I still able to get the extra things as preorder or is it too late.

It's too late to preorder and I did not get anything extra with my preorder.  I got charged and then the game showed up at my house a couple days later.  Wish there were extra things given for pre ordering games.  I'd do it more often.  BTW, the game is pretty AWESOME!!!  Get it anyways!!!!!

This is the original game on dvd. If you still want to buy the premium edition, you can get that on the Origin website afterwards.

No, according to the EA support I'm talking to you need to get the Limited Edition and then you won't get the $10 off.
