Need for Speed Underground is a complete re-imagining of EA's popular Need for Speed series adding a storyline as well as the ability to custom tune your racers. Players are challenged to make a name for themselves in the local racing scene and they are repeatedly challenged by friend and foe alike for chances to tune their car – or win one of the other 13 licensed Japanese, German and American racers – on their way to becoming the dominant driver in Olympic City.

Need for Speed Underground 2 picks up after the events in Olympic City, with the players finding themselves in the city of Bayview with a borrowed car and a new set of challenges – and opportunities – hidden among its neon-lit streets. Bayview is an expansive environment which you can roam at will looking for racing opportunities as well as shops to upgrade your ride inside and out. A total of 31 licensed European, Asian and American vehicles are ready for you to race – or race against in eight different racing modes. Drift, powerslide, outrun and outrace your opponents to take control of the racing scene.

Police chases are back in Need for Speed: Most Wanted – and they're coming after you. In addition to the law, you have to contend with the drivers who control the street racing scene as you challenge them for dominance. In addition to the story mode you can jump into a race – or a pursuit – for some quick driving action or take on 68 progressively tougher challenges in Challenge mode. Earn upgrades and cash while evading the law. Lay low in safe houses and hiding spots scattered throughout the city. The more the heat is on you, the more assets are sent after you including spike strips, helicopters, roadblocks and even police SUV's and Corvette interceptors. Customize your car for maximum performance – and to change its appearance in order to lower your heat level. Over 30 licensed cars will have you feeling the need – the need for speed.
