Need for Speed: Payback Deluxe Edition Upgrade is Xbox One DLC for players who already own Need for Speed: Payback and want extra cars, customization items, shipments, in-game bonuses, and the included story mission pack.
Recommended For
- Need for Speed Payback players on Xbox One who want the Deluxe upgrade’s five additional cars and exclusive visual items for their garage.
- Players who already own Payback and want a small head start through five Shipments, a 5% Rep bonus, and a 10% discount on eligible in-game purchases made with earned currency.
- Payback owners who want the listed Story Mission Pack as additional story-focused content, rather than only cosmetic bonuses.
- Players who enjoy personalizing cars and their profile with items such as Deluxe NOS color, a license plate, leaderboard icon, underglow, and tire smoke.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When continuing the Fortune Valley campaign, a player can use the five Shipments, 5% Rep bonus, and 10% discount on eligible in-game purchases made with earned currency to build up rewards and spend less in-game; these bonuses supplement progression rather than remove the need to play events.
- A player who wants more cars to try can add the five Platinum Car Pack vehicles to their Payback collection, giving them more options to explore the game’s different driving disciplines and customize their garage.
- A player personalizing several cars can apply the exclusive Deluxe Edition NOS color to up to five vehicles and use the exclusive license plate and leaderboard icon to distinguish their profile and rides.
- A player who enjoys visual car customization can use the Platinum blue underglow and tire smoke for a more coordinated look on eligible pack vehicles; the tire smoke is limited to Platinum Car Pack vehicles.
- A player who alternates between races and other open-world activities can use the upgrade’s added rewards while working through Payback’s varied event lineup, although the upgrade does not replace the game’s progression system.
