How much RAM can this thing address?

Not sure about the Max, the most I've tested is 8GB(2x4GB), I assume the max is 16GB like most boards with the NM-70 chipset paired with the 1037.  It's a very capable board (I've purchased 5 for OEM builds), used primarily for HTPC applications (best performance 64bit OS), does well with office automation (MS Office), bogs down slightly on high flash websites running multiple tabs.  Another useful feature is the DIMM channels are independent, no need to use pairs.  I load the OS with 4GB and drop to a single 2GB stick after software install is complete.  The units work well with just 1x2GB DIMM.  Would not recommend for gaming, the CPU runs quiet and cool, but under heavy load the fan spins up and takes a long time to cool off, I've used higher CFM fans but they make a ton of noise, not sure how long the fan controller would last under the additional load. Overall they make great HTPC's (Quiet), handle Office automation very well, and browse the internet adequately with just 2GB.  I paired the Mobo with the iStarUSA S-0112-DT Black Mini-ITX case, great combination, small, cool, and quiet. Everyone wants me to build them one.

the Motherboards  lan speed 1000M or 100M ?

Question 3

The picture show it's a C847 processor, the reviews say C847 and the ECS website says 807/847/1037 the but the title says C1037U. Which is it?

Question 4

The title of this post says that it is a combo that includes motherboard, CPU, and VGA. There is no mention of which VGA is bundled with this system. The manufacturers website lists several possibilities. Which VGA is included in this bundle? thanks

If you look up the 1037U processor on Intel's website, you'll see the graphics processing is "Intel® HD Graphics"

Question 5

I wanted to follow the suggestion here to remove the CPU cooler and upgrade the thermal paste, but can't figure out how to remove it. Any tips?

It's held down by 4 little push pins, however it's a bit of a waste of time really. I have four of these stuffed into tiny cases and they've been in non-stop operation for a year now without any problems.

The risk of damaging the retaining pins is too high if you don't know what you're doing. They don't run anywhere near hot enough to worry about a 1-2 degree drop in temp, which is all you're likely to gain from replacing the thermal paste.

Does this board support hot swapping?

I no longer have this motherboard however, I would go into the Bios and check to see if the feature is there, I also bought an Asus Z87-A motherboard and the feature is selected from the Bios so I am assuming that most new motherboards would be the same. I lost a motherboard and hard drive trying to hot swap a hard drive some years ago, so if the feature is not mentioned in the Manual, then I would suggest that you don't dare try.

Will This Mobo fit in a 1U server chassis? If not, exactly how tall is it?

My guess is that it'd fit in a 1U.  The height is less than 1.5"

Can the RAM voltage be adjusted in the BIOS, if so how low does it go? bellow 1.5v? does the BIOS read XMP?

I don't see any means to adj. The ram voltage. Only to monitor it. As for xmp I don't see anything about it in the menus. 
I bought this as well as an hd6450 fanless gpu,8gb ram and a 75 watt fanless psu. To be a media and minecraft server for the 4 other computers in the house. It has not disappointed. Even running on xp.
