It uses HDMI 1.4 or 1.3, but 1.4 is most likely. Definitely NOT 2.0.

Is this monitor able to be wall mounted?

No it lacks the mounting holes however the stand can adjust very high.

When did this release on newegg? I just ordered the BenQ 144hZ 24" on Friday and then bam Sunday I notice this one.

This one is way out of my budget range sadly

I bought this monitor back at the end of August and I think it had been out for a couple months even then. You spent less on a 144hz Ben-Q?? The 144hz Ben-Q costs like $150 more last time I checked.

Question 4

Are there any plans to release a version of this monitor with 1440p resolution, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.3, a slimmer bezel, and FreeSync support? That's what's holding me back from getting it.

Nobody, except for Eizo, can answer that question. High contrast ratio, deep black levels, and Turbo240 motion more than make up for 1080p and lack of modern ports. At 120Hz (Turbo240), FreeSync/G-Sync is not that useful because tearing is rare at such high refresh rates.

Image depth is so high on this monitor that no 1440p or 4K resolution can create a deeper image and be as immersive when it comes to gaming.

The state of affairs for PC monitors is very poor. Eizo FG2421 is the only monitor out there with acceptable image and motion.

All TN monitors have horrid image quality and image accuracy. All IPS monitors have excellent image accuracy, but very poor image quality due to sub-par contrast ratio.

I looked on the website itself. Doesn't list USB 2.0 or 3.0. Anyone know? Thanks

Uses USB 2.0 as it acts like a USB 2.0 hub. Tried connecting to a USB 3.0 port and it will will not charge anything (cell phone, wireless mouse, ect) while computer is off as USB 3.0 should.

BTW make sure to set refresh rate on NVIDIA or AMD control panel to 120Hz, then the monitor itself will do its part on the 240 Hz turbo. The effect will create triple buffer vsync without turning it on in game settings. Able to achieve max possible FPS 100+  fps with everything on CSGO and  L4d2 without vsync on, while with vsync on it'll cap at 30 fps on a 980 gtx.
