My previous POS had a swiper on the side of the monitor and then the monitor died. So we purchased a different monitor and it does not have a side swiper.  We wondered if this would work for our new monitor?

This is designed to connect specifically to the Elo 1515L model screen. If you don't have a 1515L model screen then it won't fit. This is designed to look like it is a part of the screen, it is a very specific it, so it most likely won't work.
