I really want to use this cooler, but I'm concerned about the corrosion / leakage people have reported before. Does Enermax cover damage to CPU and other components if this occurs?

I've had this AIO for about a month with no problems.  It seems that the leakage problems all occurred in units having a serial number starting with 17.  According to the company, a vendor sent them a contaminated batch of coolant.  The unit I use, (my second), is an "18" series, which they are shipping now.   Being something of a belt and suspenders guy, and having a huge case, I stood my radiator on end away from the M/B  so only a leak at the pump could cause trouble.  If Enermax or any other component maker of any type covered damage to other PC parts I'd likely faint from the shock.  BTW, my first Enermax AIO was a 140 x 280 in the 17 series.  When I saw the reports of leakage I pulled it right out even though it had given me no problems.  It cost about $130, and I've got around $2K sitting on that M/B.  No contest.

With the current trade/tariff dispute, it's anyone's guess.  You're likely to see the prices go up across the board for Chinese-made goods such as this.  I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

I saw a lot of issues that people had posted online regarding the TR4 1 enermax series, namely corrosion over short periods of time, which could damage your cpu due to build up, what is different with this one that addresses that?

From what I understand, the Liqtech TR4 model 2 doesn't have corrosive liquid.

The demonstrations show rainbow colors but does it have the option to use solid colors?
