Will this create a second network in my home? My house is mostly brick and I'd like two for good, even coverage, but I don't want two networks (SSID's x 2). I have that situation now and am looking to change that.

It supports WDS so it can act as part of a mesh network with your current wireless unit. You would get passed off between the APs if you were roaming around the house. But it will need to be in a spot that gets good coverage from your main AP (so like halfway between where you want to be and your current router).

Is the Wi-Fi dual Switched or Dual Concurrent ?

It is dual Concurrent. Meaning there are two separate radios, one at 2.4GHz and one at 5GHz which can be used at the same time.

What is the maximum number of simultaneous client connections?

no idea. thats a question for the mfg.
