is it compatible with EnGenius AP-9550?

Accepted Answer

The EPE-5818AF should be fine with the AP-9550.  The 9550 takes a standard 802.3af. I looked in the manual for the 9550 and didn't see anything specific regarding any voltage differences. To be sure, you should check with Engenius.

Can this be used with an ENH500 instead of the EPE-24R injector which is 24v 1amp?

I have the same question.  Kenneth G. did not understand the question.  We want to know if we can use the wall wart or transformer that came with the ENH500 and this PoE injector to power the ENH500.  I have checked the pin specs on the power and data, and they seem to be the same, but we need confirmation that there isn't some internal mechanism that prevents the 24 volt input to pass through the injector.

The AP is 802.3af compliant, so this should work without a problem. Even more so since it is the same manufacturer.
