Question 1

What exactly should be included in the package I receive in the mail?  I am not sure I received all I need.

This specific item is a card having the product activation key code inside a sleeve that looks like a cardboard cd sleeve. I have bought 2 and while the Instructions on the card say to insert the cd, there is NOT one to do that. You need to go to eset's home page, click the Download menu and select Home, and then download and run the installer. If you are simply renewing an existing license, do that through the Eset program interface under the Help and Support tab, select Change License. If you are doing the latter, be sure to manually check for program version upgrades.

Question 2

Does this software run on Macs? Newegg description says it is cross platform. ESET web site says it is for Windows only.

Short answer- no. Longer answer, Eset's website has these 2 products for MacOS: ESET Cyber Security and ESET Cyber Security Pro. This sale is a great price though, and you can use the key provided in later years to extend the license.

Question 3

I understand the license expires 1 year after installation. Does the license ever expire before installation? In other words, can I keep it on hand and install it 6 months from now?

The time starts ticking when you activate the product. So you could buy it and wait months before activating. Your year would start then.

Question 4

I need an all around program that does Internet Security as well as being Anti-Virus, with possibly using it on up to 3 computers.  Will this (ESET Internet Security 2019 - 3 PCs (Product Key Card) ) cover both Internet Security and Anti-Virus?? There are so many of the ESET programs to pick from, so I'm not sure if I'm getting all of what I need in one program.  I don't want to have to buy 2 separate programs to do what I need to be done.  I appreciate any feedback.

Yes, this is an all-in-one protection package, basically.  It is an excellent anti-virus program and it also monitors your internet activity and blocks connections to known bad sites, for example, to protect you from trojans and the like.  This is basically the "ultimate" ESET package.  It's light on system resources and very effective.  Unlike 2 other name brand programs, it has not missed a virus or security threat on my PC yet in about 5 years now.

Question 5

Can these product licences be added to and cloud monitored on my ESET cloud administrator account?

I've been doing just that for a couple of years. I suggest you add the license to your my eset management page before adding the license onto pc's. Also note that the keycard now is not the actual key but a code to activate the license, receive a key for installation and START the clock ticking down on the expiration. So don't activate the package until you're ready for the first install. I use this process for my family and friends to keep track of when they need to reup their AV protection- saves me trouble in the long run! :-)

Is android version save for shopping and banking?
