Question 1

I have a 2 wire fan, will this be able to replace mine? 
(5 volt 80mm usb powered fan) laptop cooler

I don't see why it wouldn't. I replaced a thin profile 5 volt 80 mm fan in a PC switching power supply that failed with this one. The current draw on it shouldn't be a problem for the USB 5 volt line. If I remember correctly, it had 3 wires, but you only need to use the black and red wires to power it.

Does this have a 2 pin connector attached?  How long is the cable?

It has a 3-pin connector, but it comes with an adapter that will convert it to a 2-pin.
