I have a dell inspiron 660s tower. I was wondering if this is in low-profile?

Yes, the low profile brackets are included in the package. It uses 2 slots to have all the connectors shown here, or you can take the VGA connector off and have it use only 1 slot. Great card, definitely recommend.

Question 2

Will this card allow me to run only two monitors???   Is it possible to run 3?? I see three ports?

By "run" I assume you mean display two screens on different monitors, which this card will not do because the three ports are interconnected to display controller therefore you can only use one type of display port for one monitor. Keep in mind this is a low profile card which is a why card's cost is low.

Question 3

Will this work with windows 8 and is it a low profile card?  I have a Dell Inspiron 660s and I want to run two monitors.  Think this will do the job?

As far as windows 8 compatability, I'm not sure.  I'm currently running it on XP.  and I'm moving my office to Win 7.  I'm fairly sure it worked with Win 7.  Perhaps if you go to NVidea you can search for this model card, and see if they have a Win8 driver.  If they do, it's compatable.

It is low profile.  The blue VGA port pictured appears to have the ability to snap off. And there is a smaller face plate that comes with the card to make up the difference.  It appears the big face plate will unscrew from the DVI port, and then I guess you could screw in the smaller plate back into the DVI port.

Unfortunately I don't have the smaller face plate to actually try it at the moment.

This system has triple boot operating systems:
     Mageia Cauldron linux 64 bit
     Windows 8.1 64 bit
     KaOS linux 64 bit

This system runs with no problems.

will this video card fit this case 16.3" x 7.3" x 14.6" ?

Not sure what case you have there. I purchased this card for a Dell Inspiron 530s. The card comes with brackets to fit the slim case and when used the width is approximately 3.5 inches. make sure you have another open slot for the 15 pin video connector to fit in beside the card. can this card  work in a 300 watts psu 18amps V2 rail?

It may.  I have mine installed in an old Gateway E4600 and I think it's a 300W supply.  I know it is an 18A 12V rail but the only wattage that I saw on it was not to exceed 264W on the 12V rails.  It's still working fine, although it if is pushing the supply it could cause the supply to fail sooner.

Will this fit in a Dell Pro OptiPlex 745 SFF? Will it improve my video experience on my antique PC? I don't do gaming. Thanks.

yep! you will get quiet a nice performance boost...it will free up some of your system memory and offload some of the work from the CPU to this GPU...it's exactly what I used for my older PC,s also I'd recommend loading windows security essentials and dumping any other security suit like mcafee or norton...and then download and run malware bytes clean up that pc

this was recommended by nvidia tech. but in my limited knowledge, I have windows 32 bit. does this mean I cant use? if not then what is compatible?

yep workers with all verdins of windows Xp to windows 8.1 both 32 bit and 64 you simply can't go wrong with this card...unless your a hard core gamer....then maybe you need more power but for most games from 2012 down this will rock their world!

Will this card drive displays attached to all 3 ports simultaneously? I have a user looking for a cheap solution for hooking up dual monitors as well as an HD TV that has HDMI input only for occasional video playback.

no I think only two at once for a triple play video card you might look at ati...that do a special driver for it...ohhh what was it called hydra???

Is this card good for Autocad Civil 3D 2015 with dual monitors?

auto cad has a compatibility/recomendation chart for each version of their software...check out autocads support websit to check compatibility...you need something that can do OpenGL well...I think Nivea has an open gl compliant driver....but again I would check with autocad website
