Is this card compatible with an older version of the PCI x16 slot?

I put mine in a recent 2.0 x16 compliant board. Your question is I think more general, ie, is PCIe 2.0 backwards compatible with PCIe 1.x?

According to the wikipedia entry on PCIe

"PCIe 2.0 cards are also generally backward compatible with PCIe 1.x motherboards, using the available bandwidth of PCI Express 1.1. Overall, graphic cards or motherboards designed for v2.0 will work with the other being v1.1 or v1.0a. "

So it would appear likely that board is backwards compatible with older PCI e revisions, but I haven't tried this myself.

Does this support sli?

The card does not aeem to have an SLI bus at the top so without going through the specs I'd venture to say that it does not support SLI.
