I don't believe the card can operate in anything lower than PCI-E Bus type of  2.0.

power requirements?  is their a separate power connector or will this run direct from the pci-e?  installing in a dell inspiron pc.

The EVGA GeForce GT 730 video card I purchased from Newegg is a budget video card and does not need a separate power connector. Runs fine directly from the PCI-E slot as long as you have a 300 watt or more power supply per EVGA spec.

is this card compatible with windows 10?

I had it installed on a couple of Windows 8.1 machines I bought in April. One of them is upgraded and I had to reinstall drivers from the Nvidia website, but I eventually got it working. It's not nearly as easy as the 8.1 setup was, and I had to attempt the installation a few times before it worked, but I got it working.

I didn't install it straight into a Windows 10 machine, but it may be easier.

Will this card replace a Geforce 9800GT?  My current card (9800GT) has a 6 pin power connector on the back.  Does this card have that connection?

Not sure but i think it does not, which means it gets its power from the PCI port on your motherboard. Out of many video cards that i bought, only one required a power connection.

Is this compatible with a Dell Optiplex 9010 ? I want to upgrade from a AMD/ATI RV620 LE Radeon HD 3450

There are four formats to the OptiPlex 9010; from full sized desktop to half height compact desktop. The 730 is a full height card, so if you have the compact desktop, no it will not work. Otherwise, if it fits physically, yes it will work; the only other problem would be if you run Windows 10 and the 730 doesn't have 730 drivers - but even if that's the case, there's the good old compatibility driver.

Has anyone setup to use the 2 DVI version of this card with dual 2560x1440 resolution?   I have tried other 2 DVI cards and they often only have DVI port that will run at 2560x1440 and the other port will run at less resolution.

I had 3 of these installed on a customer system with six monitors.  I don't think he's using 2560X1440, but I do know that all six monitors use the same resolution.  I would think that 2560X1440 on two monitors would be pushing your luck a little bit with only 1GB of memory, but if you aren't doing any gaming or crazy graphics should work ok.  I replaced two of the cards in his machine with the 2GB version of this because the fan bearing froze up on one of them and a fan blade broke on the other.  EVGA does not have fans available and ones I found that SHOULD work didn't have the right screw pattern (although I made them work on one of the cards).

Is this card a good upgrade for a Evida Geforce GT 9500. Also, will it work ok with Intel DG43NB Motherboard?

yes it works just fine ..you may want to upgrade memory to ddr3
