Yes..but if I was you I either wait for Amd's new vega this year or if your a Nvidia fan, wait until next year for Volta.. It will be worth the wait..

Question 2

Would this be a good card for max settings on 1440p? If not please give me a suggestion for the best 1440p max setting monitor. Want to play games such as GTA, DayZ, and WarThunder on max settings.

For 60 frames, absolutely. As for anything higher than 120hz, you can definitely manage max settings on most AAA games released as of this comment. Of course the higher frames you want, the more demanding it would be to produce it. GTA is a very demanding game on the GPU, so my recommendation would be to turn down any FXAA or anti-aliasing to produce higher frames. You’ll be able to load ultra textures, which makes up the bulk of what you’d want for an ultra graphic experience.

I currently have a 165hz Asus 1440p monitor, and I can’t find a single configuration I didn’t like for the games I play. PUBG, Skyrim, Rainbow Six, and GTA work wonders for me, some even with ENB presets enabled. It’s just a matter of tinkering around with the right settings to maintain the graphical experience you truly want. Would definitely recommend this card for 1440p gaming, period.

How can I be notified when this is available since it does not even show that newegg.com will sell it?

Newegg does stock this item but they also offer it through other vendors. Be patient. Newegg will auto notify you when they have it in stock. Thing is you have to be ready when the email comes. The reason I was able to purchase one (for $650 from Newegg) is that I work midnights so I was awake at 2:00AM eastern time when the email came.

This is just a slower clocked FTW card, beware of that.  Does anyone know if EVGA attempted to bring it up to the 1721 clock speed of the "standard" FTW cards and these cards simply failed to be stable OR did they not attempt the overclock in order to get them to market faster?
