Question 1

Is it normal for two fans on this card to not spin when idle or low temp?  and is it normal for just one of the two fans is spinning at certain temperature?  If not, then I may have defective card with only one working fan.

Yes, this is normal and a feature of their newer icx coolers. There are 9 temp diodes and sometimes the fans are completely off. Then sometimes only one fan spins when the GPU needs cooling but the power delivery isn't that warm yet.

Will this work with a Asus - SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 2/USB 3.1 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard?

Would two of these fit on the ASUS Rog crosshair 6 hero? I plan on buying one, and then eventually getting a second. I want to make sure it would fit and be functional.

It's a 3 slot card which is large. If you are running multiple cards like that I recommend a custom loop with a water block on each card. I just did that for my system as my cards didn't have very much breathing room. Going from a 3 slot card to two helps lol. If not, honestly I'd stick with one card.

Is this Graphics card able to have a water block installed inside it?

All graphics cards are essentially the same. The card itself, anyways. If a water block is compatible for a 1080ti, it will work on ANY 1080ti. The thing with a water block is whenever you install one you remove the shroud on the card. The shrouds are typically the largest difference with manufacturers. Frankly if you intend to do a water block, you should get the cheapest one. Usually what you are paying for with brands like this card is the shround/fans/cooling, which is all removed when you install a water block. I say typically because in the not-so-typical realm, sometime you pay extra for binned chips on the cards, which is the case with like. . . .Kingpin and Galax HOF?  but yeah, a water block will work just fine with his card.

For the more experienced folks here:

What's a relatively good unofficial estimate for when preordered a graphics card such as this one (EVGA GTX 1080 ti) would be shipped?

- I preordered the "EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING" graphics card on April 11th 2017.
- The product release date is supposed to be April 24th 2017.
- The time of this post is April 25th 2017 (late afternoon).
- Newegg's Live Chat customer serviceman tactfully avoided providing any estimates whatsoever (understandable). Ergo, I'm hoping for at least an unofficial estimate here (I'm trying to time the card's arrival with my other PC parts for my build).
- Accounting for high demand, I expect the card to be delivered significantly late, but I have very little idea of "HOW" late.

I have never pre-ordered a video card before so I can't give you an exact estimate, but I can give you some info that might help you in your search for an answer.

- I pre-ordered mine on 4/5/17 and have not been charged or received anything for it yet.

- It seems like they take far more pre-orders than the stock they actually get in; according to their answer area: The basically fill each pre-order in the order they were received vs the stock they have. So in theory, since you ordered on the 11th, and I ordered on the 5th I should receive one before you.
 
- When I worked as a manager for Retail we used to get this question all the time for consoles and the problem is that we would give the distributor the number we need and how much we get was never how much we needed. It really depends on how much the distributor can give out to each store based on how much stock they have. We never knew what we were getting until it actually showed up at the store.

- There is  no way to tell how many units Evga has produced for this card, or how many they will produce, or by when which ultimately makes any "estimate" invalid. It's always going to be based on their ability of how many units they can create vs how many are needed in each place pre-orders are taken. Just too many unknown variables to figure out a true time unfortunately.

With that said; my best guess is they are working hard to fill all the pre-orders asap, but it could take anywhere between 1 - 8 weeks depending on those unknowns. It's pretty rare to see a second shipment very quickly after the first set have been shipped as they need time to create the bulk and ship them all at once. This is usually where the time laps is.

Hope this helps in some way even though there really is no true answer.

I pre-ordered this card on 4/5/17 and there was no promotion at the time, are we eligible to receive the game promotion? If so will we get the code once the order has been filled, or how does that work?

Question 7

Can anyone tell about the temperature that the card is operating at ?? and whether the card is taking/covering 2-slots or 3 ?

I don't have mine yet, but I would expect temperatures to be far better than the founders edition (reference) cards, but not top of the line air cooling. 3 fan designs will probably perform a little better. Most aftermarket graphics cards get loud around 60 or 65% as well, and everyone's tolerance for noise is different. It will sound different in different cases as well.
This is also a 2 slot card. I wouldn't put anything next to the card though because it would most likely block some airflow to it. That is your choice though.

Anyone experiencing Coil Whine on these?

There are a limited amount of  cards out now. So there hasn't been enough time for any complaints. I can tell you that I had a 1080 SC2 with ICX and never experienced any coil whine. There is a review article on PC World. Check it out.

Question 9

Does this include the Free game promo as shown on EVGA website?

Depends on when it was pre-ordered. I pre-ordered mine on 4/5/17 and I just submitted a question to newegg about this because the promotion wasn't going on at the time, and I asked if I would get the code anyways and they said no. So not only am I paying $20 more for it, but I'm not even getting a game code. Total BS. Even when I pre-ordered it I asked them if there was going to be any codes for it and they told me no... then apparently 2 days latter they put the promo up... I'm kinda PO about this considering I've spent probably over $15k on this website over the years...

When will you quit overcharging for these cards?  Also, when will NewEgg have these in stock?
