Question 1

Windows Home 64-bit supports 16GB of RAM max. Microsoft forces you to purchase Windows Professional to address more than 16GB, so how can this 32GB laptop be running Windows Home?

I don't know where you are getting your information, but there is no system requirement for Office (of any flavor) that limits how much memory you can have.  It may be the case that Office can only use so much of the memory you have (which will not be an issue for you unless you use extremely large spreadsheets).  At any rate, this laptop has no trouble with Office.

Is there any information on the response time on the display?
Support for GSync?

There is for sure ghosting. If you search for this laptop on a website called notebook check you will see the tested 40ms delay (not the newer gsync version, no idea on that). it's workable for games, I wouldn't say it's bad, but if you open Adobe illustrator and put a white box on grey and move around there are white ghosts everywhere!

Question 3

Does this have a Thunderbolt 3 port, so I could potentially upgrade the video card later?

No Thunderbolt 3 port. I personally don't think it's worth the trouble to connect to an external GPU given reduced bankwidth, and also the hassle of turning off the computer, connecting the cable then turning back on the computer to engage an external GPU. I would just sell my computer after 3 years, and buy a new one.

Question 4

What size battery does it sport? Pretty important spec to leave out.

Youll get maximum 2:30-3 hrs of battery life with normal office work.
