I have a 32 bit system, will it work with the 64 bit video card?

First off video cards are not 32 or 64 bit hardware.  Video cards are manufactured to work usually for both environments.  The big question is do they (the manufacture) provide 32 or 64 bit driver so they can work in either or operating systems.  
I have a multi boot system that uses XP Pro(32bit), Window 7(64bit), Windows 8(64bit) and Mountain Lion 10.8(64bit) and this card works in all of the operating systems that I just mentioned.  I hope that this helps you to understand that this card will work in your 32 bit system and should work well, it does in mine.

Is the low profile bracket included?

Hi,
Mine came with the bracket but the caveat to that is that there was a sticker placed on the box directly below the "210" that says "Low Profile Bracket Included".  I don't see that on the picture of the box on this site, though.  The card is great, worth it even if you have to buy a separate bracket, which are cheap.

So does this product come with a low profile bracket included? There are conflicting answers here on the site and they are from 6-7 years ago so if anyone has bought this recently from this vendor, I'd appreciate your feedback.

Hello Jonathan, although the picture does not show the actual bracket, every time I have seen the words "low profile ready..." in the description, the card came with the bracket. I base this on my buying experience of a couple of dozen video cards of this type. Worse comes to worse, buy it and if the low profile bracket is not included, send it back for a refund. Best Wishes.

what power supply is required?

It depends on the total number of devices and load you're putting on your whole system. This is a low power demand card, so unless you're already taxing your system to its limits I wouldn't worry about it. I used this card in a Dell small form factor box with a 265-watt power supply with no stability problems at all, if that helps.

Does this video card support dual monitor?

Yes.  I am running dual monitors now.  However, check your port types for your monitors - you may need to get an HDMI to VGA adapter, for example, and make sure you get the right male/female configuration.

have a dell dimension 5150 Intel 805 2.66 CPU , 4GB ram , 1-IDE DVD drive 1-IDE hard drive , 1-SATA hard drive and creative sound card 305 watt power supply 12 volt rail is 25 amps will it work for me ?

My homemade rig has a PC-Cooling 750 watt power supply. This card's specs for power are quite high.  Depending on what your other components (the 2 HDs) draw (I have an extra case fan) you might be close.

Then again, I have 3 Hds & 8 GB RAM.

BTW: No problems with video card so far.

On another EVGA, a review said cards with fans, can catch fire when the fans quit.  Is this a problem with this card?

I have ran this card every day since I bought it.  I have never had such a problem with it.  Not saying that it could not happen, just that I have never had that problem.  I do keep my desktop cleaned out of dust.  This may have been a factor in the other person's problem.

I installed this card into a older gaming rig i had laying around less than 5 years old. it was running perfect for about 20 mins i attached my external cd drive to it and fried my card is it possible the cd drive could have done this ?

My guess is if you had a 4-5 year old rig, your PSU had some kind of problem. It's possible the extra power draw from the CD drive caused your PSU to break or fluctuate its power output. Test your components individually to make sure they're functional, and probably get a new PSU. Old PSUs often destroy components as they become less reliable.

Question 9

I have a eMachines T5274 budget computer with two sticks of DDR2 1GB RAM. Does that mean this DDR3 video card won't work? or will it just cap at DDR2? Or does it not relate at all? Also, it's 64-bit. Does that mean I need a 64-bit OS to run it? If not, then what does it mean? (I have Windows Vista Home Premium). Thanks in advance guys.

PS Side question: If I have  2 sticks of DDR2 1GB RAM does that mean I have 8gb of RAM in total? 6 virtual? (since DDR means double data rate and I have DDR2 which would make it 4x as fast).

The DDR3 on your graphics adapter is isolated entirely. So I'm short, it will work fine. This is a huge upgrade from on board graphics and will give you a HDMI port and better performance.

This is not however, a gaming card. This will work perfectly fine in an emachine.

If you have 2x 1GB DIMMs, then you have 2GB. DDR doesn't have anything to do with it, it is simply a speed architecture.

will i have to get a sound card with this?

No, sound is produced by the card alone via hdmi. The Nvidia sound drivers included with the video drivers works great.

Do note though, you have to use hdmi for sound.
