Is the carbon fiber worth the extra price?

The Carbon is purely aesthetic. They didn't make the carbon replace the plastic to "save weight" or anything. As you can see by the weights of the two mice there is no difference:

I purchased the Carbon Torq X10 because I personally liked the look more and the price wasn't that much different when it was on sale.

Is this a mouse for left handed or for right handed people?

This mouse is one of the few models that are ambidextrous. Both left handed and right handed should find it equally comfortable. Note that this, to me, seems to take a toll on its overall comfort, which is lower than right-handed only (or left-handed) mice.

Does this mouse have the tilt wheel buttons, where you can move the wheel left or right and it acts as a button?

The scroll wheel does not click to the left or the right. If you press on the wheel a scroll icon will appear on the page, and you can auto scroll up or down. Press the wheel when finished, and it goes back to the original function. Play around with it, you'll get the idea.

Is it possible to program a sniper button onto this mouse?

I'm not sure what you mean by sniper button, but in my planetside 2 game, I would often have to lower the dpi quickly for long range sniping. The dpi buttons can move the dpu up and down levels as opposed to cycling through the settings with one button like other gaming mice. They specific dpi is also programmable for every level using the software for the mouse. This makes setting levels for medium range and long range sniping easy and easy to switch between with the press of a button.

Will this work on a MAC machine? Not just the ability to be plugged in, but that plus the use of all the software (a lot of mice work but their software usually does not).

You might have to load windows for the profiles, then load them into your mouse for Mac use.

Does the mouse pad come with the first 2000 mice ordered? I have preordered the EVGA TORQ X10 Carbon but I'm unable to upload my receipt to EVGA to request one of the limited number mouse pads.

The mouse pad does come with the first 2000 but it is the first 2000 registered you cannot register the mouse without the serial number from the actual mouse thus you have to actually get the mouse in your hands before you can claim your mouse pad.

Curious Question.
I recently bought a medium razer speed mousepad, however whenever I use it with this mouse for long periods of time, the mouse tends to get stuck/the mouse wont move on screen. This can be stopped by switching to my old tiny mousepad, but I would like to still be able to use this mouse and the large pad. Could this be due to outdated software? Dirty laser? Or just not compatable with the mousepad?

I have used this mouse with several different mouse pads and have experienced the same problem, I couldn't figure out what it was till I noticed there was some hair from my cat in the small area where the laser was located. Once I cleaned that out I have not encountered the problem again. Currently using a SteelSeries large mouse pad. Also make sure the surface is even, and the mouse pad is clean.

Does this mouse have fast scroll wheel option support?

Scroll speed is controlled through the configuration app under Advanced Settings|OS.
