Does the logo light up? led like the reference coolers have.

For someone who's never built a computer before, how easy would this be to install into my PC?

a) Make sure that your case will support the length of this card.
b) Make sure that your power supply has adequate capacity.
c) Make sure that your power supply has the appropriate power leads.

That's the had part. The card is held in with two screws and a small latch on the motherboard PCIe connector.

Before you remove your old card, I would suggest that you use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove all traces of your old GPU drivers.

After you install this card, download Geforce Experience from the Nvidia site. It will automatically download the new GPU driver and keep it up to date as new drivers are released.

I'm buying the refurbished version. Anyone knows what comes in the box besides the GPU?

Nothing, just the card.  Also, be aware that it only comes with a one year warranty that is non-transferable.

Shouldn't need any cables aside from the ones that are attached to your power supply. It takes an 8-pin and 6-pin power connectors from the power supply, any power supply bought in the last 5 years should have those, and the graphics card actually comes with adapters for the power supply.

what kind of warranty does these cards come with?

When I ordered, it said 30 day replacement only. I had to update BIOS to get it working correctly, but no real problems.
