Great Card 11/18/2009 11:06:36 AM

Pros: Aweosme card. Running two in SLI and they are working great. Great job EVGA!!!

Cons: None

Overall Review: Keep an eye on the power requirements for this card. I had to upgrade my PSU so the +12 rails would push the needed amps.

Review 10/19/2009 5:38:37 PM

Pros: Blazing card, it chews up crysis and spits it out, ( on my monitor res ( 1280x1024)) even with a pentium d 3.4ghz it plays crysis on very high 16Q aa and still playable.

Cons: Any fan speed over 40-45% is a bit loud for me, dual slot design takes up my only other pci-e slot so I cant buy a new sound card :(. Max load on F@H makes it hover around 82c which i don't like (max is 85c sais evga)

Overall Review: Soon going to step up to a 300 series card or an EVGA gtx 285 F.T.W. (Newegg won't let me say it without the periods, its deemed "inappropriate")for maximum ownage in everything. Good bang for the buck. BUY NOW!

lifetime warranty 10/17/2009 9:31:07 PM

Pros: I run this on a 1680x1050 monitor, works great. I bought it b/c it's cheap, and is a big bang for the buck. Couldn't justify buying a 260 that was less than an SSC from EVGA. Looking to buy another one or two in the future for SLI on some machine or other.

I also run Seti@home on this. By itself, the RAC is roughly equivalent or more to the 4Ghz i7 of the main system. i.e. my RAC roughly doubled when I threw this in.

Cons: 2 slot. Moderately noisy. Noise is unnoticeable compared with the TRUE Copper w/ 100+CFM I have for the i7. I can't say I run it hard, but the best test I've done is Aion (MAX settings, 8xAA) in high traffic areas: hits a minimum of 45fps. Relatively no traffic areas: ~180fps, 3x the refresh of my monitor.

Overall Review: $/performance: I'd look at at 275 before buying this if I had it to do again. They were fairly new then, and I opted for the 260 because it had a solid reputation.

slots/performance: see above, but you're not gonna beat a 295 or 5870 with this. If maximum power is you goal, I'd wait to see what the GT300 series does, those should be out soon enough.

Not the cheapest card you can get, and you'll probably get better performance from a higher level card. Tough to beat for a 260, though.

Wow!! 10/11/2009 8:07:47 PM

Pros: Wow went from a BFG 8800gts oc 640mb card to this. Day and night difference went from minimum settings on Red faction Guerilla to Maxed out and 8x AA. Still getiing over 45 fps without overclocking the card. Game loads much faster as well. Very quiet cannot hear it over the stock intel cooler on my Core2 E8400. Buy this card best bang for buck on any card I have ever purchased. Was disappointed with the Bfg 8800 gts oc barely performed better than my previous evga 7900gt oc 256mb card.

Cons: Did not get the Batman game but so what this card Rocks. This thing is huge I have the antec 900 case and had to move 2 sata cables and now the ports are inaccessable on my Intel Dx38bt. Also had to move the DVD drive down a slot because the power plugs on it were blocking the card.

Overall Review: Check your clearance first!! If you have the room this is a must have card.

GTX 260 Core 216 SSC- 55nm 9/6/2009 1:11:16 AM

Pros: It worked . Fan keeps card at 50 degrees C when the room temperature is 21 degrees C. It throttles to 301Mhz at idle. Precision utility puts FPS in top corner of my monitor. This card changed Windows Experience from 5.3 to 5.9. It yields 30 fps in Astro Avengers II.

Cons: It is long. It barely clears my hard drive. It takes 2 slots.

Overall Review: I have an Antec 1200 case. All fans are on high.

Any recomendations?? 9/5/2009 8:12:10 PM

Pros: To start off,i really liked the graphic it had. Easy to install, pretty simple. I ran crysis on medium settings, seems okay. Anyone have any reccomendations on what to set my settings to? I have no experience in this field so any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. I want to run games like CoD4, Crysis, WaW, Bioshock. If u happen to know what settings to put in the utilities precision software, can u please give me some ideas. Thanks!

Cons: none so far. loved it.

Great Card, but wheres my game?! 8/25/2009 2:13:48 PM

Pros: This card is amazing, it worked right out of the box! Handles all my games and runs it like a champ. It's a great upgrade from my old Radeon. Very fast shipping, came sooner than I thought and im sure thats Pro for anyone who is impatient like me.

Cons: I never got my promised free Batman : Arkham Asylum game. Not really a con, but I just heard right now that the games pretty good. I would try it out, but I don't have it T_T. The card is also freakishly huge. Barely fit into my Antec 902, had to move my hard drive up a slot cause it was in the way. Also, if your using windows 7, the driver cd that comes with it doesn't support it W7. So your going to have to go to the EVGA website and download it yourself.

Overall Review: Antec 902
