Do I have to upgrade my motherboard to PCI 3.0 to make it compatible with this card or any other card that has PCI 3.0?

No. I'm using this card on my old Asus P6T Deluxe while I save money to upgrade and it works just fine on PCI-E 2.0. I just swapped it with my old GTX 285 and everything worked properly. I don't know how performance would be affected by 2.0 versus 3.0.

Was just wondering if this comes with a SLI bridge? I am looking at buying 2 of these within the week and just want to be sure I will be able to SLI it (I know noob question but any help would be very appreciated! :)) Thanks!

It does not. You will have to buy one separately. If you're ever wondering what a product comes with just look under the "Specifications" tab and near the bottom it will show the "Packaging" contents.

Will this card be able to play next generation games on really high setting?

Yes. I'm running with an I-5 proc., 16gig of ram, and this video card. I Play Ghosts, Crysis 3, AC Black Flag, Splinter Cell and others. The card runs quiet until it's under load. Gets slightly louder and then throttles itself down. Runs cool and quiet under normal daily stuff. Absolutely the best bang for your buck. All settings set on the highest on all my games and have had zero problems. Overall best card I've had for the money

I am looking to buy 2 of these and was just wondering if an 850W Power Supply, i7 2600K, and 16 gigs of RAM is enough to run the 2 way SLI? I have done some research on this and I think it should work fine but I wanted to get the opinion of people who have actually worked with the card.

Probably.  I have only a single card, but I'm using a 2500K oc'd to 4.8 GHz (turboboost) running 16GB RAM and 4 internal hard drives...and multiple case fans and CPU push-pull.

So probably because it depends upon your PSU quality.  If it's known good component that delivers a true 850W continuous (I like hardocp com for reviews) then you shouldn't have any problems.  My PSU is 'only' 650W.  The card itself only pulls 200-250 ish during gaming.

Question 8

Im using a Rosewill Challenger case and Antec 750 watt powersupply.

My first question, will this card fit in the case?  And second, will the powersupply be enough?  I find that this case is kind of packed as it is, and I was thinking about upgrading to a full tower as a result.

I am unsure about the dimensions of your case, but as newer cards go, this one is a little shorter than I'm used to. It fit very easily in my Thermaltake V9. Card dimensions are 9.5" x 4.376". I'm also running a 735W power supply and I have run into no power problems. The product details suggest a 500W or greater PSU with a 12v rail. As long as you meat those requirements you should be fine.

All I can tell you is I am using it with a Q9300 core 2 Quad 2.5 ghz and 8gb ram.

Keep in mind the only real limitation is the pci express bus which the older 2.0 busses are still so fast that this card can't overload them. It is listed as a 3.0 card but it doesn't use 3.0 speeds because no card can really fully max out the 2.0 standard yet. They just say PCI-E 3.0 to say it is compatible with the new standards but it also looses no performance at all from it.

Your biggest concern might be your powersupply on an older computer. Make sure it is at least 600 watt+

for some reason, newegg does not have the 760 listed on their power calculator: http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/index.html with my rig, everything but SLI 690's would work with that PSU (about 780w+, the SLI 690's jumping it past 1k). i dunno whats in your rig, but i'd go with a 1000w just to be safe. i don't see why it wouldn't work, since the 760 is presumably better with power consumption than the unpopular 690, unless u have some other serious hardware. see what u can do with the calculator, see what cards u can compare the 760 to in power consumption, and if all else fails go with the 1k. very rarely does anyone go above 1k.
