Hello Shopper,

Yes, this should work well with your set up so far, but the details you provided me are a little lacking to fully comment.  The motherboard supports PCI 3.0, that being the only limiting issue on the Motherboard.

What you need to look at more are:
1. Power requirements are met, this Video card requires a PSU with at least 500watts, but I would check the Wattage Calculator here to be safe as you will need enough to run this card in addition to your current parts.
Also check that your PSU has the required power pins, this takes 8 PCI pin powers plugs (2 4+2 plugs work to)

2. Have SPACE in your case, this think is a beast.  Check that you have enough space to install this in your case.

It should as the motherboard has a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot. Always make sure the motherboard's bios is updated to the latest revision to ensure the best stability and compatibility with any new components.

What kind of power supply is required to run 2 of these bad boys in SLI?  Will a 850W make due or should I really have at least 1000W?

Hey Mike, I have two of these in SLI and a Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W and it works perfectly.  I'm not an electrician but I am guessing an 850w can probably run a tri SLI setup heck maybe the 750w can too.  As far as shopping for PSU's goes I always look for "SLI Ready" in the description or specs and usually that's a pretty good indicator.  If you're still shopping around you may be able to get by with something even less than 750w as long as it says it supports SLI.  Happy egging ,-)

Can PC Audio play through the HDMI port? My previous card had S/PDIF pins for hooking up to the motherboard, but I don't see any on this card.

I was able to plug this card into my TV through HDMI and get audio to play through the TVs speakers.  I was even able to do this while still using the DVI cable to my monitor (to type this).  No extra wires needed just the HDMI to TV and or the DVI to monitor.  Hope this helps!  PS: I'm using Windows 8.1  NOTE: my 'crappy' TV required me to be in 'Just Scan' Aspect Ratio to fit the 1920x1080 picture correctly on the screen.

I purchased this video card and it has hdmi dvid dvii and displayport.  my problem. i have 2 vga monitors and the video card only came with the dvii to vga adapter. im having trouble finding a dvid to vga adapter. what should i get that will work?

I cannot say with any amount of certainty that dual analog monitors will work with this video card. I plan on using 2 of these cards on an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2
for an SLI configuration. Will both of these cards fit on the motherboard, since it is a dual slot card?

Yes, if you read the specs located on the ASUS website it claims to support up to quad SLI.  As far as real world experience goes, I have the SABERTOOH P67 with 2 of these in SLI and it works great!  These cards have a very nice form factor compared to my old GTX480s.  Hope this helps, happy gaming!

What is the difference between this card "02G-P4-3765-KR" the "Dual Superclocked" version and the regular "02G-P4-2765-KR" Superclocked version?

Just some heads up, This is not a dual bios card and this does not have more cuda cores and it does not have a backplate with it. Check the specs on Nvidia's website as well as newegg. Here is what I did find out about the two cards models:

The 3765 model comes with stickers and the 2765 model doesn't. Thats it. And the box it comes in is slightly different. But seriously thats it.

Also, I did some other comparisons. Their is also a difference between the memory chips model numbers used for the main product models.

The 2765 memory chips model numbers are: Skhynix RDC 307A

The 3765 memory chips model numbers are: Skhynix RDL 325V

The difference between those models of memory chips? I have no idea. LOL, But atleast you have all the information I could find out about those two main models the 2765 and the 3765

ive had this for a while but was going to upgrade my monitor from a 27in to something bigger. What is the largest size this card could handle? im looking at something in the 32in to 40in territory. thanks

Howdy,

When looking for proper screen sizing the size in inches of the monitor doesn't actually matter this card can output to even huge 80 inch TVs if you wanted it to.  The important thing to pay attention to is the resolution of the monitor this is the number of pixels the monitor can display.  Most monitors today are 1920x1080 pixels, but there are some monitors that have higher resolutions.  This card is able to output up to a max resolution of 4096x2160 pixels so as long as your new monitor is anything less than that you will be fine.

Does this 760 come with a backplate installed out of the box?

My card did not come with the backplate.  Though there was a promotion from EVGA that I missed where I could have received one for free.  Might want to take a look on their website to see if they are doing that again!

what is the massive difference between this 3765 model and the previous 2765 model?

The only difference that I can see is that the 3765 has the dual BIOS option where the 2765 does not. Otherwise they seem identical to me.
