Can I put a Corsair H80i with the rear 120mm fan?
If not case>rad> rear fan, will it fit case> rear fan>radiator?

I think the H80i will be too deep and after looking again I'm certain it will be too wide for a rear mount.  You'd really have to butcher the case to make it work.  If you're thinking of replacing the top rear fan, that was my original idea, but my mobo wouldn't clear with the extra depth.

I put a H55 in by cutting out a square on the side panel window and mounting the rad/fan to the plexiglass.  The hoses have enough length to allow me to remove the side and it all fits.  Tight but fits.  I don't think I could get the 2 fan 80i to fit.

I'm happy with the H55 and so far my 4770S has been running in the 25-28 degree range.

My guess from your selections is that you intend to overclock everything. If that is true , get a larger mid-tower case. If you are not overclocking then all you need to do is add up your max power consumption and make sure it's less than 80% of your power supply's max of 500 watts which is 400 watts.  (I like to run supplies with room to spare.) It looks like your real power hungry device is the graphics card of course. It can handle that , even if it was air cooled, providing you bought the model the shoots the air out the back. If you can squeeze the water cooling in, you should be OK. Sounds less than 400 watts total.

More things to consider: You are buying the wrong model as there is a version of EVGA specifically design for water cooling. Yet you are asking a question about the "Air". The other thing to think about is the motherboard design. You may find, like I did that the sata connectors of the mother board are on the wrong side of where the ssd mounting is located. It can be done, but it's not easy to route cable and make it look good too when crossing over to the other side of the case. I have two of these cases! I like them. But I did not water cool and decided not to overclock anything. One was built with an EVGA board recommended for this case. It fit like a dream. The other was a MSI. It fit, but not easy to run cables. I also bought two of EVGA's cpu fans too! They are perfect for this tight case.  Warning: Keep the dust out of the power supply! It's small and can accumulate dust, so spray the dust out often. Be patient and get the right size cables etc. It's a tight squeeze. Good luck. PS. I have never water cooled, so I can't suggest anything there.

Would a stock 4770k cooler fit into this case?

Yes, the stock cooler fits quite well.  I ran with the stock cooler on a 4770k in my new Hadron build for a while, but eventually opted for the EVGA mITX 92mm heatpipe cooler in order to decrease temperatures at idle and load.

What are the average temps of the components inside the case, particularly the GPU and are you using a reference blower style GPU cooler or a fan style (i.e. ACX, Windforce, etc...)?

Hi, I have been using the Hadron Air for about 3 months now and I can say that I am very pleased with the temps of my components. I have the list of parts I used in my build below and as for the GPU, I am using a reference style blower design GTX 780. During idle, the CPU temps don't go over 35 degrees and the GPU stays below 30 degrees Celsius while the motherboard temperatures always stay under 40 C no matter if under idle or heavy load. During gaming, the CPU temps ramp up to 60 degrees but not higher than that and the GPU gets to 72 degrees in some demanding games like Crysis 3. The drive temps always stay below 37 C and fluctuate along with the overall temps in the case. Overall the bottom to top air flow really works well and keeps all the components very cool even though the very small form factor.

Can this case fit a hyper 212 evo? The MoBo i'm using does not work with the EVGA air cooler.

Most coolers past stock do not fit in this case. I bought an ULTRA Peltier cooler (ULTRA isn't on newegg unfortunately) which barely didn't fit, so I had the glass in the door cut out by a nearby machine shop. Door fits perfectly around the cooler and cooler is flush with outside of the case. Its pretty wicked!

You only have about 5inches clearance from the top of the proc to the door.

Is the PSU removable?

There is a screw on each side of the power supply at the exterior rear of the chassis. It should be removable. I've built a half dozen of these over the last couple of years and this far all original power supplies are running optimally.

Are the hard drive bays removable?

No, HDD bay is part of the case. If your not afraid of modding, I'm sure it can be removed. Its only meant for 2 drives and a slim optical drive, but I use one bay for dual SSDs and one bay for a 1TB and a blueray optical drive.

I also cut out a piece of the plexi glass so my CPU cooler can slight peek through.

Question 8

I have a Corsair H60 I would like substitute for one of the 120mm fans up top.  From owning the case and checking out the internal layout of the fans, is this at all possible?

I don't think this will be possible. I looked into a similar solution and quickly realized there is not enough room around the top 120mm fan mounting points to accommodate the radiator end-tanks (in either front or back position). Even if there was enough room there you would likely still encounter clearance issues with motherboard connectors and components. For example: The board I have has an ATX power connector right on the top which interfere with the 52mm depth needed by the H60 + Fan.

When building a mini-ITX system, you will have to make certain compromises. If you're dead set on a mini-ITX water-cooled system, I'd recommend stepping up to the EVGA Hadron Hydro. If you're willing to use air cooling with this case, I'd recommend building the system with the stock CPU cooler first. Take careful measurements of how big of a cooler you can get away with before choosing your CPU cooler. I'd also recommend replacing the somewhat noisy included case fans with a pair of quality static pressure optimized PWM fans (because the perforated top cover is somewhat restrictive). In my experience, one of the original case fan bearings started rattling on me less than 8 months of use.

Would an EVGA GeForce GTX 980 be compatible in this case?

I used a GeForce GTX 750 Ti  for my system.  If the GeForce GTX 980 has the same specs (physical & electrical) as a GeForce GTX 750 then the answer is Yes.

Question 10

When the power supply dies, will i be able to find a suitable replacement?

At the time this Case was released this form factor of PSU's was limited if you wanted PCI-e connectors for gaming GPUs. however there is now a braod range of "SFF" or 1U offerings that should fit just fine should support from EVGA fall to the wayside. However i highly doubt this as i have been a long-time EVGA customer and they have yet to let me down.
