Is it easy to take it off and put it back on? I don't want to encourage criminals to break my windows to steal $150 dashcam.

I'll be honest with that, it's a concern of mine too.  The top center (in the pic) is your mounting hole for the included suction cup item.  With a release of the suction cup, and removal of the USB power plug on top (right most in pic) the camera is gone.  Video is stored directly on the cam, so you'd have no proof.  Finding a less obvious space is what I would consider it best mounted (attach it to the headliner, attach it to the back seats, attach it to top of the trunk in the interior), and with maybe a different mounting kit.  Gotta dock an egg or two for that.  The mount is THE MOST weakest part for this cam.

Can I plug this device in my home in an electrical outlet?

The contents of the box is meant for a 12V car cigarette lighter; but converts that to a 5V standard USB type A plug.  I'm not sure about wattage, but if you use a household plug to USB type A adapter, it might work (keep in mind, wattage/amperage).  This device has more features more suited for a car, including GPS, motion detection, infared, etc.  You may be better served by something like the Netgear Arlo system or any other home video cameras.

What size sd card does this model come with?

32 GB...  contrary to the remarks made in the video about the dashcam being accompanied by a 64 bit card!

I believe a correction should be made.

Question 4

What is the lux/low light rating on this?  And can the ir lights be turned off? As my old/other brand device create a glare on my windshield.

There is a screen saver feature that turns the screen off after a few minutes. Or you can choose to leave the screen on.
