How do I get the bluetooth to work?  Drivers are installed, everything shows it is working correctly.  The bluetooth cable is plugged in.  I just get no range at all from the bluetooth, the USB dongle I used before for bluetooth is far superior, it works up to 30 or 40 feet away.

I have had no issues. Works great. Are you pairing devices up right in Windows?  Mine works better than the bluetooth device that came in my Acer Predator desktop.  There was a pair of headphones the acer wasn't picking up that the fenvi has with no issues.

Question 3

device manager shows warnings on the wifi hardware. bt works via the usb, but wifi has 3 exclamation marks on pci encryption/decryption and 2 unknown pci devices. ive used the fenvi driver package. one machine works with no issues and win 10 installed without the need for fenvi drivers. the other win 10 computer has these errors. pcie port is fine. how to clear this error and enable wifi? asus prime x470 pro fyi

If you have tried both window's default drivers by automatic installation, and manually installing the fenvi drivers included in item, and if looking for updates through windows or on fenvi's site proves fruitless....I would say check the Asus website for 1) a thread section that might cover this, 2) if there are any driver updates for the Motherboard in question, 3) check to see if there are any driver updates released since your Motherboard was purchased.  If you find nothing to cover this problem.. then I would go with 4) call / email tech support with Fenvi and Asus.   I would say send back the Fenvi unit for RMA, but you said it works ok in one pc, so it's not the FENVI.    Mine works great.  I've had no problems and would get again.  So, i am thinking it is your ASUS motherboard.  for all i know, it could be a setting in the Motherboard's BIOS.

To be clear...this "adapter" is complete and no additional purchase is necessary, correct? It works out of the box?

As long as you have a free PCI-e, a USB2 header (dual port)  for the "bluetooth cable" plus an internet connection to download the latest driver, you should be good. I put the driver on a USB stick to transfer it to the PC. Works perfectly. The antenna is interesting, it twists instead of folds.

Can I use it as an access point with external antenna?

I have not tried to do this with ours just yet, however I do believe that it is possible. When I get a chance to use the computer with this particular Fenvi Wireless Card I will go into my network settings and give it a go. I'll try to respond with a followup here by tomorrow.

Can I use any wifi antenna with this? One of the connectors fell off the wire on the antenna that comes with it.

should be possible, but a far cheaper solution is to source a new connector and solder it to the antenna wire!

Does this adapter work only on systems with Intel processors?  I have a 1st Gen AMD Ryzen 5 CPU.

Two questions:

1) Can someone who has an 802.11ac (WIFI 5) router, but purchased this 802.11ax (WIFI 6) card, please run a speedtest dot net and let me know what kind of throughput you receive? I am curious of its' performance.

2) Could someone expand on the comment regarding requiring a cable to enable bluetooth in one of the reviews? Bluetooth should be enabled by installing the card, the card has its' own antenna. I'm not understanding why there needs to be another cable, not pictured, to enable a feature this card is advertising. I see some sort of white connector on the corner of the card, but there is no picture of a cable, or description of what it is for or why it is needed. Can anyone who purchased this card expand on this?

At the edge of the card there is a white port. A cable goes from this port to a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. The manual says this is needed to support Bluetooth 5.0.

Looking at Intel's AX200 specifications which powers this card, BT requires the USB system interface. Perhaps someone with more knowledge on this topic can expand on the why.
