Who we are
Finish is one of the market leaders and has a long history of industry firsts. Established by U.S. company Economics Laboratory in 1953, Finish was acquired when J.A. Benckiser bought the Consumer products in 1987. By the early 1950’s, the growing use of molded plastic dinnerware was presenting a range of problems. Coffee staining and "spotting" brought on by slow drying were common problems that offered opportunities for the right product. Learning from research into the needs of the dairy industry, Eco-Lab introduced two products which were to become major players in the household dishwashing scene: Electrasol, and a new, product – Finish.
