Do I really need another tool?

What sorts of things does the Open It open?
The Open It is ideal tool for countless items, including the toughest of plastic, thicker packaging, zip ties, wire, flower stems, toy packaging, small battery compartments, breaking down boxes, and bottles.
The retractable razor blade makes me nervous — is it safe?
Yes, the retractable razor blade in the Open It is only exposed when you’re actively pushing it into position. And who you’re using other features of the Open It, it is protected by a safety cover.
I have arthritis and have trouble using scissors. Is the Open It easier?
Yes, many of our customers, especially for those with hand limitations, enjoy the Open It for its built-in spring and off-set handles that make cutting a breeze.
What do I do if my Open It breaks while I’m using it?
We take pride in the construction of all our products, including the Open It. If there was an issue in the manufacturing process that resulted in a broken Open It, please let us know right away and we’ll happily replace the faulty item.
