How is the wireless reception?

It works OK.  Like all wireless, as long as you don't expect too much you shouldn't be disappointed.  You can surf the net and watch Youtube just fine.  Don't expect to download a 4.5 GB ISO file over your home network or anything major in any reasonable amount of time.

Is the CPU & 204 pin memory included with the bare bone system?

The CPU is included, it is soldered on. The memory is *not* included so you will need to buy that separately as well as a hard drive.
