Is the case flimsy? Specifically the sidepanels?

Detached from the case there is a small amount of flex in each side panel but it is very minimal and they are surprisingly thick and solid. There isn't any visible flex the the case with the side panels attached that I've observed moving it around the home office, or placing it down on it's back or side for maintenance.

The side panels, when slid into the tracks on either side and fully attached leaves the case feeling very rigid and solid. I have no concerns with this case related to workmanship. It's really high quality - especially for the price.

Question 2

Can this fit two 360mm radiators?

by design yes - one along  the front wall, and then the second along the top. Top dimention is big enough for a 480mm, and front is big enough for a 360mm. I've never done this large of a radiator in the case myself, but the Fractal Design website specifically calls it out as capabilities for it, and as an owner I can see how it could easily work.

What would be a good alternative for a Fan controller since this case has no mount space for a normal Fan controller?

you can look around, look for fan controllers that connect to the PCI slots in back of case, I have 2 there. Some can control up to 4 - 6 fans

So, the mechanical HDD mounting options are pretty weird. I've tried two different drives so far, one seagate and one WD, both vibrate really loud. My ssd is plugged in on the back of the motherboard tray. Any fixes or just bad hdd mounting design?

I have two SSDs and one HDD mounted on the underside of the metal floor that the motherboard is fastened to in this case, and none of them vibrate at all. If the screws fastening the drives to the removable mounting brackets are tight and the screw fastening the mounting bracket to the main motherboard metal floor is also tight (one edge has two tabs that slide into metal floor slots and the other edge has a single large screw), then you might have a bent or defective bracket. I would consider contacting the manufacturer and see if they can send you a new mounting bracket and see if that solves your problem.

where to put the dvd drive?

No externally-accessible internal bays are provided. You'll have to go with an external DVD.

Question 6

What would be the recommended SATA cable length. Planing on moving my ITX build to this and then doing bigger upgrade later. Would 18" be long enough? My SATA connections on my MB are at the top of the MB when placed inside the case

18" would probably be long enough however my problem came in the for of all of my SATA cables had an elbow joint for connection to the drive. They do not work. They will collide with the case since they are on full sleds. Be careful of that. But 18" should be enough.

what is the max dimensions a power supply can fit in this case without hindering the ability to put a 140mm fan on the bottom?

Can this case be laid horizontally?

Yes. Nothing about the case prevents it so unless your peripherals do, should be fine.
