Does the case come with the fan?

Yes, it comes with two fans in the front, and one in the back  above the expansion slots.

Will an optical drive prevent the use a 360mm radiator in the front?

Accepted Answer

Unlikely. There's enough space below the drive mount for 3x120mm fans, but by the time you add on the ports to connect it to the loop you'll be into the space for the drive cage. I'd say go with a 280mm radiator if you want to keep the drive in there; similar surface area, lower-speed fan options, and shouldn't conflict with the optical drive bay.

Question 3

According to specifications, this case has one external drive bay. Is this correct?

It has one 5.25" bay in the 'Standard Layout' for a DVD / Blueray drive or card reader etc. It is accessed by swinging the front panel open like a door. I hope this is what you meant by 'external drive bay'.

Where can you purchase the PCIe riser kit?

It's currently not available yet but they do have a spare parts website for release dates etc. Nothing on the riser yet and their customer support has been horribly lacking so just be mindful if you put any tickets with questions or support you may not hear an answer in a long time.

Where can I get four more hard drive bays to fill this case out?

Fractal Design hasn't offered additional drive caddies for these cases yet. The initial answer to a similar question brought by a reviewer was that they didn't foresee many builders wanting more than the six caddies to be supplied with the case. I'm sure that directly contacting Fractal Design would get a better answer, they are pretty good about responding.

Will the Corsair H100i v2 (276mm length) fit in top WITH room for a 5.25 optical (and electrical connections)?

Yes, there should be plenty of room. I have a 360mm radiator in mine, and a drive can still fit most of the way in. The h100i is a 240, so there should be at least 2 inches to spare if you mount it as far back as you can.

What is the clearance between the top of the case and top of the motherboard? I have a corsair h100i radiator that I would like to mount in the top, but the fans hit against my motherboard and it won't fit in my Define r4.

The R6 has an offset away from motherboard so your 240 fits no problem even with gskills ram sticking out, i personaly use a 360mm on top. It gets tricky with 140mm,varients of radiators, on the top because tall heatsinks like the gskills ram will not clear the fans from a radiator.

One thing I am wonder is if you could have a GPU in the vertical mount position and a GPU in the first slot horizontal? I have 2 EVGA GTX 1080 FTW.

I tried this with my case, it depends on the GPUs PCB height that's going in the first motherboard slot. I had my EVGA 1080Ti ftw3 in the first slot and the card was so tall it overlapped the first vertical slot (closest to the motherboard) so I could not mount my 980. I ended up using the motherboard PCI slots for my GPUs and used the outer vertical slot for my sound card. It was frustrating but it ended up looking rather nice

Does the nexus hub only control PWM fans, or can it cantrol 3pin fans also?

It can control both PWM and 3 pin fans.

why was the release date pushed back from the 15th i ordered this on the 3rd im pissed????

Since the case went from preorder, to backorder, back to preorder my guess is that they're initial stock got sold out on the 15th, and then they listed the 23rd to signify when they're getting more in stock.
