Are these the fans that come with most fractal case, or are they suppose to be better bc they cost money?

Same one, only a choice between white (original for Define R5) or black to match color of case. Don't know why the black ones weren't preinstalled on these cases, and white with white ones. Maybe Fractal Design developers thought that 'white on black' was a good match.  Regardless, these are good fans, very quiet even in Turbo or Full speed, although not close to the speed of Noctua offerings. Not being PWM also means more energy being used, plus a [potential] shorter lifespan due to not being able to down speed when appropriate.

Personally, I don't feel these are worth the price, given that Noctua PWM fans of the same size are marginally higher in cost & available here. Am ordering only because a friend wants matching fans for his case, not for myself. Being 3 pin, should be half the price. In most instances, we get what we pay for, however this item is an exception to the rule. One can order two Arctic PWM fans of the same size with a 6 year warranty for the price of one of the GP-14.
