Q: I have a MSI gtx 760, will this fit?

The card will fit, but you may lose the bottom 3xHDD bay. The orientation of your PCI-e power connectors is important, if it is side facing or rear facing. If side facing, then it will fit. If rear facing, then you will lose the bottom 3xHDD bay. The MSI GTX 760 card that I found on NewEgg has a length of 10.24 inches. I have an R9 270X in mine, which has a length of 9.0 inches. My card fits nicely without removing any HDD bays with a solid 2 inches of clearance for plugging in the PCI-E power power cables. My card has rear-facing PCI-e power connectors, so I definitely need that clearance.

It seemed that there was not quite enough space to fit two 690s due to the bottom HD cage being fixed in place, but I didn't actually try to fit two - just one. The one fit fine after removing the middle HD cage, but the second slot wouldn't have fit. I guess it depends on how much shorter a 460 is than a 690, and whether or not the power connection is on the side of the card or at the end.

Q: This case claims to have six 3.5" hard drive trays, compatible with SSDs, but most the SSD I want to buy is 2.5". Is it possible to mount a 2.5" SDD in one of the 3.5" trays? Bear in mind that it has been years since I last built a PC.

Yes you can mount the ssd drives. 3.5 inch bays. They screw in on the bottom of the drives. Works great.

Q: My question is, the yellow HD AUDIO plugin, what is that for and/or where does it attach? It is grouped with the AC.97 Audio plug.

It's simply a different format for audio. You'll use one or the other, whichever your motherboard provides/requires. HD Audio is preferred, and a new motherboard should have that connection. The motherboard will be labeled either HD Audio or AC.97 and the cable termination is created in such a way that you can only connect it to the right connection (without damage). The pins will line up with the holes.

Q: Will this fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with a Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P?

I installed an ASUS micro ATX mother board and it fit perfectly, but I never have worked with Gigabyte. I would assume that since the form factor is a standard, if Gigabyte follows the standard, it will fit with no issues. The power supply was a little tricky, so pay attention to the actual dimensions, since not all power supplies will fit, specially the high power ones. Hope this helps.

I don't personally have an H80i in this case, but looking at the dimensions of the case, it looks like it could fit. However, it's probably dependent on the hardware you're putting in the case. Particularly, it looks like it might depend on whether your motherboard has big heatsinks which could get in the way. If you google H80i case compatibility you should find a link to a useful thread which lists case compatibility with specific water coolers.

Do standard ATX power supplies fit in this case?

Yes, they do. You shall, however, verify tha size of your power supply, some of the bigger ATX PSUs will not fit. From the manufacturer's website:

"Supports PSUs with a depth of maximum circa 170mm, when using bottom 120/140mm fan location. When not using the bottom 120mm fan location, the case supports also longer PSUs, typically 200-220mm."

Question 2

I just bought this but can't tell if it has built in speaker for POST tests... my new system won't boot and don't hear any beeps... can anyone lend any insight?

The case doesn't have an internal speaker. Sometimes the motherboard will, but most times it comes out the audio jack. I'd check the motherboard manual to see what audible beeps it will provide with error reporting. If you can provide more info about the rest of the system, perhaps I can help further about what to expect.

Is the front panel door plastic or metal?

It is plastic, but very sturdy.  The front bezel is all made of that material.  It has sound baffling mounted inside the front door as well.

This case only has 1 removable filter but 3 filters in all.  Allow me to explain.  The bottom filter (underneath the power supply area and bottom fan) does have a removable sliding filter which covers both PSU fan and optional bottom fan.

However, the filters on the 2 front 120mm <---(stress the size for additional fan buyers) fans does not have an easily removable filter assembly.  In order to remove the filters and clean them from the front there are 4 easily lose-able, plastic connecting (fragile to multiple removals) screws which hold the fan housings.

These housings are used to hold the front 120mm fans with clips (not screws on the fans)  but are themselves screwed onto the case.

So the only way to get these out and cleaned in a sink or detailed with cotton swab / cloth, is to unscrew the housings, unclip the fans (which are still attached to the connectors somewhere inside the pc)  then clean, and reinstall.

Quite the task for someone who is coming, personally, from an antec 902 case which has easy thumb screw hardrive enclosures with slide out filters.

Filters are very important to me as a long time PC builder and I wish someone had elaborated in a review better.

tldr;

In short, filters? yes...3.  Removable? yes, but quite a task for 2/3 filters
