can this scan to a network and ocr to a network folder at the same time ?

It has been a little while since I worked with this scanner but if I recall correctly it can only create one file at a time but can do a regular scan or an ocr scan to a network folder.  I will warn you it is not a very easy device to configure as it does not come ready to scan out of the box.  You configure most everything through a remote admin and also have to build out menus to accomplish actual scan jobs.I was unable to locate anything built in for this.

Mac compatibility ???

I use it on a Mac Air (formerly mavericks, now yosemite). Pressing the button for the first time is supposed to bring up the driver, but doesn't always; sometimes you have to start it manually. Also, the next push of the button doesn't always start a scan; sometimes you have to click in the open app. However, the scans are good and, I find the above issues no worse than annoying.
