Question 1

I just bought the AsRock Z87 Extreme4 motherboard. Will this Ram work? I don't see it listed on the AsRock compatibility chart. Thanks!

From the list that I just read, it will work. But what you'll have to do is "over clock" it. Since Intel's CPUs only support 1066, 1333, and 1600 natively, all you have to do is enter the OC settings in the UEFI bios, and set them to 2133. I got the AMD Asrock extreme4+ for the fm2+ socket and these work great. Be warned tho: don't OC to 2400. They produce insane heat and causes windows to BSOD at random points with random errors.

It is not supported. Gigabyte's supported list only lists one set and one brand for 1866MHz. Looking at this chip set I would stick with a 1600MHz. They will be stable when you put them in and they could overclock to 1866MHz which is max for that board but doubt you will see those speeds for the CPUs for that socket.

Will this memory work with ASRock 970 Extreme4 Socket AM3+ 970 ATX AMD Motherboard and FX 8320 Black Edition 3.5GHz AM3+?

I have tested it on a ASUS Maximus VI Hero and ASUS Maximus VI Formula both z87 chipset and worked flawlessly.

I am planning to use the memory permanently on a ASrock Extreme 4 z77 but the motherboard has not arrived yet.

Is this ram compatible with amd fm2 motherboards?

The quick answer is that it should. 
It is dependent on the particular MB specifications, and if its Bios is up to-date. With the correct timings and voltage set in the bios. I hope this helps it's the best I can say with out knowing the particular MB you are wanting to put these in.

Is this memory compatible with Asus M5A99X EVO or 990FXA-UD3??

I am not sure if it compatible. My experience is that if you run the ram at the specified settings, most of the time any ram works. As far as the two boards listed here, the Evo supports 2133 and the 990FXA does not support the 2133 speed. But, the ram will most likely clock itself down to 1866. Just make sure you adjust the speed, timing, and voltage accordingly in the bios. This is very important. You should be ok though.

Question 6

Is compatibility with the motherboardand cpu on a new desktop running ASUS A78M-E mobo with AMD A6 7400K Socket FM2+ processor going to be a problem?  ASUS says that it will run 2133 RAM without overclocking on the mobo but I am not sure about the processor. Any advise would be appreaciated.

No it does not run at 2133 at any mother board without over clock. It will run at 1600 at default. If you want it run to 2133 you have to go to BIOS and set it up to 2133. I have been try on three different motherboards and this is my result.

Will this work for the intel z87 v edition motherboard?? Not listed in manual, having trouble with it

Is the bios UEFI? And, if this is a primary drive, you wont be able to use the full capacity. OS drives are limited to 2TBs. I would email the manufacturer if it isn't listed on their site and ask.
