Are the light on this model blue or white ?

If I remember right ,they are white. Very bright, so you will want to take a Sharpie marker and cover the led lights with it. You will still see the lights just fine. They are that bright.

I got an 8x dimm MOBO (4x4) bout how many dimms will this cover... or how may should I get???

Using 16 gigs (8x2) Crucial PC1600 memory mods, but fan covers all four dimm slots on Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, ATX mobo.

No heat issues for me, even in Florida, but temps dropped a few degrees which is always an asset.  Fans are quiet, blue LED is non-instrusive, unit support legs fit snugly against dimm release clips.  Definitely increases air circulation through dimm slots and improves exhausting heat away from memory and near CPU heatsink out through the top fan vents.

Installation took about 5 minutes.  Bend flexible legs inward toward one another.  Attach left or right side on the dimm release clip, pull next leg over opposite release clip, attach power to mobo “sys fan” pins and you’re finished.  Power cord is sufficiently long.  Mine doesn’t rattle, move and/or generate noticeable noise.

Now certain these fans will be included on all new system builds in the future.  For the small price, $14.99 after promo code, it’s added satisfaction and benefit.  Try one, you won’t be disappointed, at least, I’m not.

This RAM cooler should work with the mobo and and the ram that you've picked out. However, I bought two of these RAM coolers just for the looks and I found them to be too loud for my liking and I had a problem with one of the fans coming a little loose and making a vibration sound, but this could be fixed my tapping the fan back in place. They do look really nice in the case and the brackets are made of all metal and no plastic which is also nice.

Is it difficult to take the fans off the mount? interested in painting it. wondering if it would be a problem.

Fans are held on by  screws. Should be easy to remove. When you put fans back on, don't overtighten the screws. Screws should be snug.

How well does this work with water cooled RAM?

Would be completely redundant and would do absolutely nothing. This is made to bennefit ram heatsinks. not a waterblock. The airflow would literally do nothing.

Will it fit in my Mobo a55m e33??? 2 dimm slots only....pls response

It can fit a 2 DIMM slot depending on the spacing between them and the head spacing from the top of the RAM to the case. There will be approximately 2" from the top of a standard stick of RAM to the top of the fans. The fan was designed for RAM with heat sinks. The main concern is how big is your case. If you're using a LAN Box, then there shouldn't be an issue. Anything smaller might be difficult.

Question 7

What is the longest memory sticks that this will accommodate.  I've got a bank of 4, 240 pin, ddr2, FB-ECC modules that are 5 1/4 inches long.  Will this unit fit them?

All DDR2 / DDR3 Modules are 133.35mm (5.25") long.. so yes, this will fit over the ram, as long as there is room in your case, and no other obstructions.

Question 8

I'm definitely interested in this... However I've read varying answers for the color of the LEDS. The specs state white LED, some reviews mention blue.. Some of the answers vary from blue to white. I have a color specific build; all blue LEDS and would like to keep it that way...

So what is it.. blue or white?

Does this fan cover an entire 4x set of RAM chips, or would I need to buy two of these for that?  There are no pictures of one installed on a mobo for reference.

Yes that is correct. One of these will cover the entire 4x memory slots.

It will cover all 4 slots. I went ahead and replaced the fans with some Fractals. Depending on what board you are using and if you are using a water cooler for the processor the tubes from the water cooler may obstruct the fan mount a little bit.
