Hello, I am wondering if this specific RAM will work on a AMD motherboard?

My current computer specs are;

CPU: AMD FX 8350
PS: 500W
Graphics: GTX 760
MB: 760GM-E51 FX
RAM: 16GB

Yes and No. 
The module will fit and run, however it would not run at the 2133 speed you are probably wanting. Your mother board only supports modules up to 1333, so you would be better off purchasing 1333 RAM with a lower latency. You would save money and the RAM would run more efficiently  than installing these modules.

Hi, just wondering if these sticks run fine at there 2133 speeds the with Z87 chipset? Will be getting two 8GB sticks.

Yeah man they work great, just make sure to set your Bios Profile to XMP so they will run at 2133 instead of 1333. Great and really fast sticks.. I'm really impressed with them.

I just bought a GIGABYTE GA-G1.Sniper Z97 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. I am wondering if this memory will be compatible. The specs matched up but I'm not sure?

Download the PDF user manual for your Gigabyte board. I have an Asrock Z97. I'm not an expert, but I read the motherboard manual before buyng the memory. It seemed to match up. 240 pins. DDR3. The mb manual said "non-ECC" and the Newegg listing said nothing about ECC. The mb manual said "non-buffering" and the Newegg listing said nothing about "buffered". I didn't know what ECC and buffering was, so I googled them and I still don't understand it. But the RipJaws memory modules look really cool, they are heavy and well-built, the blue goes great with my AsRock blue and I've been burning in this build for 4 days now and it's sweet rock 'n roll. Does this work well with FM2/FM2+ AMD motherboards? (MSI A88XI)

Yes this memory will work on any ddr3 desktop slot motherboard. As long as the motherboard supports the memory speed.

Yes it will and I suggest if you can max out your ram then do it with this. Already over clocked and I have a i3770k with it. Farcry4 maxed out and still can stream and use Spotify at the same time.

Question 6

I currently own a Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard from MSI. G Skill has my motherboard listed in their QVL for this RAM, but MSI does not have this RAM listed in THEIR QVL.

Should I just trust G Skill and ignore MSI on this one???

I really wanted another set of sticks from G Skill but neither manufacturer had each other listed so these are the next best thing.

What I look for when searching for RAM is checking compatibility with the motherboard. Meaning I check to make sure the Memory Standard capability of the motherboard matches up with the RAM I am looking to buy. I've had success with this and haven't ran into any issues with my motherboard and RAM.

So I have a GA-990FXA-UD7 with a FX 8350 Black, The MoBo can handle 2000Mhz but the Processor says its rated for 1833Mhz for 2 sticks, 1 per channel.

My question is, can I get better performance off something like this and running it at 1833 or just buying a pair of 1833 modules?

My thought is that these must have better internals to be more capable so using them in the same manner as I would a slower set running at their intended limit would be preferable.

I'm adding this for posterity sake, because there are still people using AMD FX processors.  It really depends on your system and if you are going to OC it.  If you're going to populate all 4 memory slots, I would buy this if you get a good price (DDR3 is not being made anymore).  If you can get 1866 or 1600 for a really good price go with that because the memory controller for the FX CPUs will only run 1600 if you have all 4 DIMMs being used.  Having said that, you could probably get these to run a lower CL setting than most 1866 or 1600 DIMM's.  If you're only going to using 16GB of memory you may be able to get these to CL8@1866, and that could be worth it if the rest of your system is pretty quick, including using an SSD for storage.

These sticks won't match a profile for the Gigabyte 990FXA boards, so you have to set the timings manually.  If you want your memory to be configured automatically, by selecting one of the profile settings, you need other memory.

Just upgraded my old Corsair Vengenance  1600MHz to this G.Skill RAM. However I'am unable to run my rig at the specified 2133MHz speed. Whenever I change the XMP profiles (1 or 2) in the BIOS the system fails to boot and the RAM speed defaults to 1333MHz - slower than my initial Corsair RAM.

My motherboard is the GIGABYTE Z68XP-UD3 with the latest F10 BIOS version.

Can someone assist me with the manual RAM settings I need to enter in to BIOS to get the 2133 MHz speed?

Hello Chris S:  I recommend you go to the G.Skill website and contact their support.  They're located in California so be aware of the time zone difference.  There are a few tech helpers there with good knowledge.  Sometimes they are a bit slow in interacting with you, but they are helpful.
I am not aware of the details of your bios.  I know the key to getting the memory to work at the speed you want is entering the right numbers in the right places, having compatible components such as the cpu and chipset, etc.
In my system, I am able to enter different values for the XMP profiles, but the default XMP profile should work, at least it does on my Intel 2011 system.

Will this RAM be compatible with ASROCK Z87 Extreme9/ac MOBO ? It is not listed in the compatibility list..hence the question.

I have this RAM in a Asus Maximus VI Formula, but it should be compatible.  The QVL often doesn't list all the RAM that the board can handle.  But it should definitely fit.
