Question 1

I see the ram is great for the X399 platform, but will it work at 3200 on a Asrock X399M Taichi? Will the RGB on the ram work right with this board? I do not see the ram on there QVL listing

I had a similar thing happened to me but I had to make sure it was AMD, not Intel. Is it running smoothly?  if it is then it should be ok Mine works fine I have the Asus Rog Zenneith Extreme and it works great with that. I looked at the ASRock qvl listing and it's not there I had to tell Asus to add it in and they should. If it works smoothly it should be fine you did well making sure it was AMD, not INTEL

Will these work with all 4 dimm slots on a ASUS Zenith Extreme Motherboard with AMD 2nd Threadripper 2950x on?

I am currently using 32gb (4 X 8Gb) in my Gigabyte X399 Xtreme with  a Threadripper 2950X. I enabled xmp in the bios and was able to run them at 3300 MHz perfectly, unstable at 3400 - without doing any manual voltage or timing adjustments. Just to be a little safer I backed them down to 3200 as the small difference in performance means nothing to me. Using PBO enabled in the bios my Cinebench numbers are 3365 and 127fps. Fast  enough for Lightroom & Photoshop. I have another 32Gb of this memory on order.

Will this kit work on the Asus Crosshair Hero VII X470? I want 32 GB of RAM, but have been finding a set from the QVL.

I would not advise that. This ram has the "X" at the end of its part number. This means it is meant for AMD's chipset. Visit userbenchmark dot com and enter your PC's info as if you were building it fresh. It will tell you what ram choices you have and latest prices. Good Luck!

I have an intel i9 CPU and an ASUS prime z390 mobo. Will this RAM work for my system? I notice it says (For AMD).

Does anyone know why G.Skill says that this kit will work on the Crosshair VII Hero but Asus says that it is not compatible?

Because it will work. I've been running this kit on my Crosshair VII Hero without any trouble at all. I did have to update the BIOS and set the memory to the right clock speed though but it is working smoothly. Highly recommended. Specially now that the price has dropped a little.

Yes but if your not going to fill all 8 slots refer to motherboard instructions for the placement. You need to identify which two slots work together with dual channel example slots 1 and 4 then 2 and 5 the manual will tell you how to pair the slots

I'm looking to getting this kit for my Ryzen setup. I have one concern, however, as these kits are not on the QVL list of my motherboard. I have an Asus Strix X470-F motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 2700x.

I'm currently using a set of G.Skill (2x8GB) 16GB Kit 2400Mhz CL15. Is this a worthy upgrade over my current kit? Or should I avoid this kit as it's not on the QVL list?

Not only am I looking for a better kit for improved performance but also for aesthetic reasons as this will fill all four slots on the board.

With Ryzen, many reviews confirmed that there is a much more noticeable performance difference of systems when pairing the CPU with better performing memory.  There's a synergy with the infinity fabric that affects this.  I'd probably check with the memory manufacturers as well even though the memory isn't listed on the QVL of the motherboard.  I have this memory and use it the TR and functions just fine.

Based on the specs of the board it will because your motherboard can support up to 64GB DDR4 3200, but there's also mention of referring to the ASUS QVL list, so I'd make sure that this particular kit appears on that list otherwise you might run into some wonky behavior.
