Can i use only 2 sticks to one computer and 2 sticks to other computer?

Yes, you can as many as you want in as many computers as you want.  ie. 4 computers with one in each, 2 computers with two sticks in each, or even 1 computer with 3 sticks and another with just 1. If your computer has 4 memory slots and you are only using two sticks it is best to place the sticks in the 2 and 4 slots together or the 1 and 3 slots together.

lga 1150 refers to the CPU. the memory you are asking about is SDRAM. as far as I know most/many(current) motherboards use sdram. There are many other issues that could make it not work with your mother board. check the qualified vendor list available from the motherboard provider. I know this because I have had ram that did not work right and it was not on the list

Yes. Be aware though, your computer might not be able to handle the speeds of this RAM. If you don't know what you're doing, then you shouldn't go for anything higher than 1866MHz RAM. 2400MHz can cause instabilities or not be supported at all.

Is this kit compatible with CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z and AMD FX-6120 which will soon be AMD FX-8350? It's listed under QVL for the motherboard but I'm still unsure

Yes, I am using it with that exact motherboard and an 8350 and have it clocked at 2400 Mhz. Stable and no issues. I haven't pushed it beyond that.

Are the g.skill trident x series Model F3-2400C10Q-16GTX, compatible with asus a88x-pro?

Yes they run on all boards that support ddr3.  It might not run at 2400 if the CPU or mobo don't support it.  That board should support it.  You will need to manually set it to any speed above 1600 (default speed) and bump voltage to 1.65v and might have to loosen timings.  The xmp is only on Intel boards.

I'm using the Crosshair V Formula-Z MOBO, and wanted to know if you left any of the DRAM timings in Auto aside from the obvious 10-12-12-31 timings. If not, what other timings did you manually set? (Please and thank you!)

Also, did you increase any NB voltages?

Yea unless your going to overclock the ram leave them on auto, the NB voltage should be set to auto as well, I am running a very over clocked 9590 CPU that requires me to turn up the NB voltage but you really don't want to turn these up as it will cause instability / heat problems in normal configurations

If your having problems update the bios, set everything to auto to start off with.

Then set the dram timing in the following order:
Voltage 1.65
Timing
Speed

The motherboard is amazing to say the least so make sure you go through all the ram timing screens

No heat issues with them removed. Really, heatsinks on RAM are purely for marketing to people who want their pc parts to look spiffy.
Unless someone is pushing massive volts through their ram, (as in well over the 1.5-1.65v even overclocked memory will be set at), it isn't going to over heat. Ever.
