1 Thousand Dollar Monitor is a high premium. Looks amazing though. Question below!

  1. Does a glossy surface mean you can make it matte later?
  2. Is burn in still an issue for these monitors? Looks like it still needs to turn off to prevent burn in but has protections in place
  3. What does WOLED mean compared to OLED?
  4. How come it doesn’t swivel 90 degrees? T_T

  1. No. It is glossy, so you will get the full effect of color reproduction and brightness.
  2. Burn-in will always be an issue with OLED technology simply due to how it’s made, but it’s much less of an issue with current panels than with first-generation OLED products.
  3. WOLED means white OLED, which is one of the types of OLED; the other is QD-OLED (Quantum Dot OLED). White OLED is brighter and offers better black levels in bright environments. QD-OLED is superior if you’re using this in a room that won’t be blindlingly bright.
  4. If you want better panel adjustment, you can always get a desk-mounted monitor arm.

WOLED is what I say when I eventually get one of these, “WOAH LED”

… except that you should aim to get a QD-OLED. That doesn’t sound as funny to say out loud though.
