What is your budget? Like, if you want the lowest upfront cost, consider pass through options. El Gato is a big competitor, but I have been hearing nothing but raving reviews on AVer media. works on laptops too.

Hi! The simplest is a external video capture card most have a HDMI input & USB 3.0 output that will work on any USB device and most come with some kind of editing software. All you would need a PC/MAC basic desktop or laptop. The other choice is a internal capture card you put in a desktop PC/MAC
