So my brand new RTX 5060 finally showed up… and of course, it doesn’t fit.
Not by a mile. Not even by a centimeter.
It’s literally off by just a tiny bit.
And that tiny bit was enough to unlock intrusive thoughts like:
“Yeah… I could just mod the case.”
So here we are.
What started as “maybe I should measure twice” quickly turned into
“measure once, cut aggressively.”
Let’s be honest — this isn’t ‘case modding.’
This is me going full caveman with a saw.
Grinding, cutting, sparks flying —
all directed at my poor HP Z2 G8 SFF.
Is this smart? Probably not.
Is it necessary? Also probably not.
Am I stopping? Absolutely not.
RTX 5060 will fit.
One way or another.

Well done! I had to plenty of moding myself I had a similar issues with graphics card I bought a Vertical Graphics Card Holder I did some rough measuring figured close enough turns out I was off But I made it work
