I found the AMD 7800X3D on sale from the fantastech sale. not only is it like $100 off sale, but also get an SSD from it. how does that work? is the SSD free?
should i get that or the 9800X3D instead since it’s newer?

the 98003dx is like 15% faster. so if your on a budget get the deal. if money is not an issue get the 98003dx. you will likley not see a difference in most games right now.

for sure! im running that now with a 9070xt. ill run the cyberpunk benchmark tonight and get back to you with the results. just busy right now. i usualy cap my fps at 60 to help keep it cooler.

so here is my cyberpunk benchmarks. I run a 2K monitor 120 htz, 78003dx and a 9070xt non-OC model and undervolted 50mv to keep it cooler. everything is high textures. v-sync is on
straight up no upscaling, RT ultra on. 55FPS.
RT off, no upscaling 120 FPS
RT ultra, FSR quality, Frame gen 120 FPS
RT Ultra, FSR qualiy, no frame gen 95 FPS
so I’m hitting the limits of my screen at 120 but im sure it will go higher with a better monitor. But I’m cheap.
Im sure the 9070xt is holding the CPU back but no 80 class card for AMD this go around. Not sure I would spend $1000+ anyway, cause im cheap😜
