I made most my friends through school or work. I wanted to make some different friends in person.

seriously though most of my best/permanent freinds are still from my local neighbor where I grew up as a kid. Or my girls freinds from high school. Newer freinds I met at bars/social gatherings or networking with other freinds freinds, the old fasion way.

You can try social gatherings where the event happens regularly. Some people like karaoke singing weekly or going dancing as well. Networking with other friends works really well too.

Being in a family were my father was in the army, I’ve learnt how to make friends wherever there was people.
