I like how this build turned out. Had a few goals with this build: 1. Use that lich king / death knight / dragon knight figurine 2. Go for a black and white panda color scheme 3. Vertically showcase the GPU.
My original plan was to just use white RGB (to stick to the theme), but the rainbow RGB looks good in its own way (see video).
Excellent cooling and amazing benchmarks (after overclocking the GPU) - see screenshots. There are 3 fans as intake at the bottom which aren’t visible. Plenty of room between the GPU fans and the glass panel for airflow (unlike Y60). Rear IO side has a 140mm fan as intake (added a dust filter). The side fans are exhaust to remove the hot air coming out of the GPU’s right side. The top radiator is exhaust as well.
Went for this case as this was one of the few options that come in black + white and has enough room for the figurine.
Nvidia 5070 is an amazing overclocker (even though it’s somewhat lacking in VRAM). It’s almost a crime not to overclock 5070, 5070 Ti and 5080 if you have it (unlike previous generations). I went for a safe +300 MHz to core / boost clock and +2000 MHz to VRAM clock.
