Sadly no one told u about intel problems with 13-14gen cpus on intel,BUT that isn’t your fault, build looks solid and cool. Especially as your fist build. Hopefully it will serve you well.
Don’t forget to do bios updates so it will keep your i7 life longer. 
It was an experience. My sister’s boyfriend was with her when I was building it. He helped me, and he does it for a living.
That’s great that you got help. I’m sure the boyfriend updated the BIOS to resolve the Intel problems on 13-14 gen cpus
