Hey everyone and thanks in advance. I’m looking to get into sim racing and I’ve kinda come to a stall on what setup to go with. I want something that is as real as $1500 will get me and for rally but cant decide on Moza, Fanatec or Simagic. Hoping someone here would have some good advice on what exactly i need or should get to make it as realistic as my budget will provide. If I’ve posted this in the wrong place I’m sorry in advance aswell but any advice is well appreciated. Thanks All.
Is this including the PC or just the hardware of the sim setup?
Yes, as @elaniselan said. Is this including the pc? If so you only have >$500 to spend on peripherals. And if you want multiple monitors and a nvidia gpu than that makes this 99.999999999999999% impossible. But if you already have a pc and monitors than that’s great! I don’t do sim racing but I do play farming simulator, and in the time of farming simulator 22 I got a steering wheel, side control pad, and pedals for about probably $200-$300. And I also used it for farming simulator 25 a few times and it’s really fun to use. Here’s a link to it:
It may not work with what game that your playing though. But answer the question and than we can help.
I would probably lean Simagic if realism is your top priority, but Moza Racing gives really solid value and lets you stretch your budget further. For rally especially, make sure you budget for a good handbrake and sequential shifter too—that will make a bigger difference than the base alone.
