Borderlands 4 is shaping up to be a bolder, more expansive take on the looter-shooter blueprint. Gearbox is sending Vault Hunters to a new, big open world on the planet Kairos, full of dynamic traversal tools like grappling hooks, double jumps, and no loading screens between zones, aiming for a more seamless and vertical exploration experience. Several reviewers are calling Borderlands 4 the most mechanically polished entry in the series so far, though that doesn’t mean it’s without its flaws especially in performance.
