Monster Hunter: Wilds was one of the biggest success launches of the year, however it’s been hit with a wave of criticism. This is due to widespread performance issues. Hunters are reporting frame drops, stuttering, and crashes, despite running the game on high end hardware. The optimization problems are glaring making the game unplayable. 
Google just released an article about generational AI is “leveling up the games industry” listing Capcom as one of their clients. Could generational AI be the reason why Monster Hunter: Wilds is having so many performance issues? Google states, “… using Vertex AI and Gemini to generate hundreds of thousands of ideas for game development.”
