News: Nintendo Switch 2 reportedly OVERHEATING playing intense AND non intensive games.

There’s growing evidence that certain Nintendo Switch 2 units have been overheating, particularly during extended play sessions, both in docked and handheld modes, and this heat is causing freezes, crashes, and even automatic shutdowns or thermal-safety sleep warnings. Tom’s Hardware first detailed accounts, many originating from Japanese X (formerly Twitter) users, reporting that thermally intensive titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Yakuza 0, along with less demanding games such as Pokémon Scarlet/Violet or Splatoon, have caused the console to overheat, even with fans audible in overdrive

Hardware-focused outlets like Guru3D have echoed these findings, observing that the Switch 2 runs its processor at peak clock speed when docked and can still overheat despite constant fan activity. There have been loud fan reports and thermal warnings during lengthy sessions. If issues persist, users are advised to send their unit in for service.

And I bet you all settings were low and it was running at 30fps

Yep. I understand the appeal of handheld gaming but I think they’re stupid e-waste products.
